From the age of five, David Manning knew himself to be an artist. As a child, he roamed his grandmother's ranch and observed the movement of shadows cast by rock outcroppings and large boulders in the fields. Today, David draws from his bachelors degrees in both architecture and fine arts/ sculpture to carry out the privilege of helping people realize their building dreams. His education includes a stay in Castilione-Fiorentino, in the Tuscany region of Italy.
His continued study in green building has resulted in a home in the Austin Cool Homes Tour 2006 and in the National Convention Sustainable Homes Tour of the American Institute of Architects in 2007. His designs have been included in the Austin A.I.A Homes Tours of 2005, 2006 and 2007. View some images of these homes at www.aiaaustin.org.
